Best multi-stop GPS routing tool?

I'm planning on doing some country/mountain drives which have been recommended but am trying to figure out the best way to translate a highlighted route graphic into a turn-by-turn spoken route I can follow using my phone. Ideally, it would be something that allows me to plan the drive on a real computer and then send to my phone to actually navigate it. I know Google maps is highly recommended, but it only allows 10 waypoints/stops and that's not nearly enough. The last route I drove with friends had 134 turns over 118 miles and I had to rely on a printed copy of the instructions. I had a navigator who could tell me what was coming up, but I'm looking for something I can use solo. Anyone have any good experiences or recommendations for a particular app? Thanx in advance.

Apple Maps now has this function. You can Add a Stop - works great, don't know if there is a maximum and from what I can see it works much better than google and is easier to use.

This is called "The Traveling Salesman" problem, and unless you have a quantum computer (or pay for a cloud service that does), you won't be able to add more stops than google maps. This is actually the short of what happened to Southwest in December, once their system crashed.

Google Maps. Break up the drive into multiple
legs, and use them progressively. You can send them to your phone this way as well. Not sure if there’s a difference on the iOS version but I’ve done this in the past on android.

Also try looking at the REVER app. It has the ability to draw a route on a map in a web browser (using butler motorcycle map data to highlight the best roads, which I recommend, if you pay). it also tells you your total elapsed drive time as you build the route.
Then, you can use the app via Apple CarPlay. However, I will say that I much prefer the “follow the line mode” to the turn by turn mode. It’s less distracting, and I find it sufficient for my back roads drives.
That app, via the butler maps data, has helped me find and drive some amazing roads. I recommend it.

I did a drive with Rallista. Didn’t plan it but was shared by a group. Much better than google maps as it would route you back to the original route if you took a detour.

Been using ridewithgps.com, for years, it is the best. Make a route, click to go where you want to go and make custom routes that will have turn by turn announcements and can download offline when cell service sucks.
only downside no Apple CarPlay but still the best out there by far.

A friend just sent me a link to Rallista. Seems like it may do the trick. The app is available in iOS or Android. I’ll likely check it out soon.

Rallista looks interesting. Free version allows 25 waypoints. For fee version is $2.99 per month, with auto-renewal, and allows more WPs (though I can't tell how many more--sent an email to the company to find out). Not ready to travel yet so not going to sign up, but first impressions are good. Kind of cool that you just point to a spot on a map and it automatically tags that as your next WP and lets you know how many miles (since beginning of route) and far to the next WP.

A group of us used a Rallista route given to me by a friend today. However we started on the freeway instead of the shopping mall located about a mile off the freeway where the app was programmed to begin.
Unfortunately all it wanted us to do was to turnaround and start at the mall. This continued for the entire route. We were able to use the highlighted route as a guide. But it became a real pita trying to follow it. So unless you begin where you programmed it to start I would not recommended the app.

that's odd. I just opened it today and pulled up a few rides I found that were shared. I hit the navigate button and it started from where I was (which was at home, 60 miles from the starting point). It was just like using any navigation program and brought me to the points. I didn't really use it yet, but maybe there was a way to stop and restart it to make it work.
