Default Getting a GT4!!!

So I posted this thread a while back:

https://rennlist.com/forums/718-gts-...e-4-0-gts.html

I was still on the waiting list (16th in line), as my dealer rep told me that i could get an allocation. But nobody got allocations for April May and June...so I was getting my suspicions.

However today, i found out that they had 12 GT4s in the inventory!!! (Yeah, people cancelled their order last minute due to the difficult economy).

I found one near to my liking which was in GT silver and 18 way (my wife refused LWBS...) with some options that I don't like too much (no two way zone climate control option, and steering wheel in leather option...) but I can easily deal with those and put a deposit right away.

There was no ADM, but only condition was to use porsche financial for a minimum of 30000 usd at a ridiculous 13%, but I have the choice to pay off all after 7months.

So I pulled the trigger today! I will be going to the dealer on Sunday and finishing up the paperwork. Am verrrry excited!!!!!!

All new?

That should help people looking for cars. Especially with all the talk with no more new allocations.

With those finance terms, it is a lot better than current ADM.

Congrats on the car.

Thank you! But keep in mind that I live in an area where GT4s are not in high demand. That's where I got lucky!!

For context, you are in South Korea? That is an important detail.

K-Drama fans book flight to Seoul, and train to Busan, in hopes that their limited Korean the picked up over the years can help get them an allocation.

A 13% interest rate? Here's what I would do. Pay the loan off by $25k shortly after you buy the car and then take 6 more months to pay off the rest.

Not sure if you're in the USA or Korea, but take a look at the finance documents you sign when you buy the car. The dealer wants you to keep the financing alive for 7 months so they earn their fee, but there may not be a prohibition against actually paying the financing off as soon as you have a loan number and payment address. That was the situation for me with a BMW I purchased in the US about 4 years ago, needed to finance to qualify for an extra discount and I paid the loan off right away despite the dealer telling me I had to keep the loan for longer. And congrats on the car!
