Default Wait for Vessel

For those of you who've recently taken delivery of their car (last 3 months) - how long did your car sit at port before it was loaded on a ship?

I have no personal knowledge of what happened the past 3 months.

However, there is a huge range of wait from reading on here.

Get your SA to print out the V status. Probably the most accurate info you are going to get.

3-5 days (Freeze date 11/28/22, on vessel 2/3/23), then landed at Baltimore a week after the Vessel set sail.
Final delivery date 2/16.

Wow - seems you got really lucky with your timing!
Freeze date was 12/28/22?

Well I'll say that @BoxKing's GT4 must've set some sort of record from order placement to dealer delivery. I'm keeping my expectations in check for my car.

It too is in Emden waiting for a ship... Hopefully should arrive to the Port of Jacksonville either late this month or early next. Maybe our cars will catch a ride together?

How long as it been sitting at Emden so far?
Mine will go through Jacksonville as well. But prob won't catch a ship until Late March (I hope)

It only recently got there... Likely in the past couple of days. I think the TYD app is a bit delayed because I had my final production photo a number of days before it actually showed finished officially on the checkpoint tracker.

The next two vessels to Jacksonville are the Violet Ace (departing 3/9) and the Siem Confucius (departing 3/16) that are expected to arrive to port 3/23 and 4/3 respectively. Hopefully both of our cars make it on one of those!

My GTS 4.0 has been sitting at the port since 2/1. I was hoping it was on Dong A Gloucus, but TYD doesn’t show anything and I’ve seen others TYD update to show it’s on that boat.

I’m taking delivery west coast at PECLA, fwiw.

Similar situation for my GT4, stuck at step 7 since 2/1 no TYD updates and also West Coast bound. Seems random who catches a boat and when.

My Cayenne GTS build was finished on 12/8… went missing until 2/1 where we thought it was in Emden and it apparently wasn’t (yet). Now it also seems to have missed the Dong-A.

With my order process starting back in January 2022 I am really over this crap. I just want to bail on this dealer and buy one of the many sitting on lots these days either new or one year used. I am trying to be patient but at some point this is just a pain in the butt I don’t need.

^^ Outch. Wouldn't it be nice to just forget about it, not care, and be surprised when your car shows up? Unfortunately it doesn't work that way and this is an anxious experience for most of us. I don't know if these forums help or make it worse though
