Many of you have been eagerly waiting to see our BBi Autosport Roll Bar installed, and we're thrilled to announce that the first-ever 718 GT4 RS with our StreetCup Roll Bar installed is finally here! Thanks to Alekshop, our premier dealer, here are some photos of the installation to share with you. Our roll bar seamlessly clears the factory carbon airbox on the RS model. This must-have safety upgrade is perfect for owners looking to hit the track with confidence. Constructed from high-strength seamless steel tubing, this roll bar offers an excellent strength-to-weight ratio.

The roll bar boasts an OEM fit and finish, with the main hoop contouring the entire roof arch with an even 3/16-inch gap. The roll bar can be finished in a satin black powder coat or matched to many OE colors like brake calipers, seat belts, trim detail, and exterior paint. It can also be delivered in raw metal finish for customers who wish to paint or powder coat it themselves or have it done professionally. The powder coating option includes many popular Paint-To-Sample (PTS) colors, such as Lava Orange, Lizard Green, and Miami Blue. Please reach out to us to confirm color availability.

It is important to note that installing 6-point harnesses requires aftermarket racing seats or the factory Porsche Lightweight Full Bucket Seats. The BBi Autosport Sub-Belt Bracket and Harness Install Kit are also required when installing the 6-point harnesses on the factory Porsche Lightweight Full Bucket Seats. The Sub-Belt Bracket bolts to the bottom of the seat to provide a mounting location for the anti-submarine belts, also known as the crotch belts. The Harness Install Kit includes extended bolts to accommodate the OEM seat belts and racing harnesses at the factory mounting locations on the seat.

BBi Porsche 992 GT3/ GT3RS / Cayman GT4 Sub-Strap Mount



This bracket is required to install 6-point race harnesses when equipped with optional Sport Bucket seats. This bracket bolts directly to the heart and keeps the harnesses at the proper 10-20° angle regardless of the seat position.

BBi Harness Install Kit



BBi Harness Install Kit included extended bolts to adequately accommodate the OEM seat belts and racing harnesses at the factory mounting locations on the 991 GT3 / 981 GT4 Sport Bucket Seats. This kit features metal sleeves fitted around the bolts so the belt brackets can pivot freely on the bolt. They are sold as a kit per seat.

how do they compare to reg iron’s? (Or PCCB’s)?
in terms of road/track performance/ feel.
you think it’s an easy plug and play swap for an intermediate wrencher or should I leave it to the pros for install?

 

Appreciate the smaller details. Makes all the difference. For example, the bolts shown are made by Lake Erie Screw (part of Fontanna Groupo) in Frankfort Indiana. Excellent choice when it would have been easier and cheaper to source something of questionnale quality from China. Your Tig welding tech deserves a raise and a cold beer (after work). Certianly has the 6GR position down.
