I am in the same boat - not wasting money on this and will order aftermarket. I didn't see a single person who managed to remove it with results that I will be satisfied with,

Giving the stickers a try. On my last car I got the euro alcantara visors but giving this economical option a try.

Using steam is really the only way to properly remove these stickers; followed by a gentle scrub with a leather brush and cleaner.
Honestly not worth the hassle or money to go any other route than applying the sticker.. just my .02

it doesn't cost any more money because the aftermarket route costs around the same, or less, than the option from Porsche

Interesting place, lots of stuff, but I couldn't find any sun vizors...

How difficult is it to remove the stock plastic visors and install the alcantara ones?

When I think about it - if I am in Europe anyways - why not bring the Alcantara part with me back to the US? How much does it cost?

Get Exclusive Option to build you a pair for around a grand. They’ll match your deviated thread even. They rebuild, others just cover. Big difference in fit/finish and girth.

Aha thanks. Dunno if I would want deviated stitch matching up there but this sounds like the best option regardless.

I’m cross-posting this as it may help the OP, and perhaps anyone else. We have a ‘22 718 Spyder so I’m on both this and the E3 Cayenne board. Our ‘22 CGTS has alcantara everywhere, obviously including visors, so this process would presumably be the same. The result in the car is essentially perfect, especially without shop lights or flashes on it.
