Full Bucket seat stop ordering for GT4
#181
Is that the same as order date? TYD shows an order date of 12/13/22. When I configured, my configuration got kicked back because of a stop order on bucket seats, so I switched them to 18-ways.
What I was wondering is if I still have an outside chance of getting buckets. For example, let's say the stop order on LWCB ends on feb 20th. Can I resubmit my spec on that day and add the buckets? Is there a chance in hell of that happening?

I'm in exactly the same situation.
If the stop order is lifted then you can change the config up until the freeze date. However my SA told me that Porsche North America told him that there was zero chance of getting LWCB on my May build with a March lock in. I'm keeping an eye on the forums to see if it lifts but I'm not hoping too much.

Myself and other member submitted the order before that stop date, we still have the bucket seat for our production date in April.
Finger crossed for everyone, the bucket seat is very important option for us.

My understanding is that all available LWBS for the rest of the production year will go to the GT3 RS, GT4 RS, and Dakar (for which they are standard).

I have been told PTS, Bucket Seats, and Ceramic Brakes are all on order stop effective November 2022, with possibility of reopening in March 2023, however no guarantees. Mods - Maybe change the title of the thread to "PTS, Ceramic Brakes, Bucket Seats Order Stop".

I received my allocation and locked my order in November 2022, in a small timeframe when Buckets were made available again. My freeze date is early march, with build in April. Is there a chance that my build stays as it is for the production?

Same for me, I checked with him but nothing has been kicked back yet. However, he told me he has never had such a situation, where there was an on-hold, then a narrow availability, followed by another period of on-hold. According to him, it could happen that they get pushed back at the freeze date.

Nothing 100% until the car produced with the bucket. I have checked with the multiple sources including PCNA for this huge concern. Finger crossed!

Example: My original order had PDLS+ It was submitted, accepted, etc. When PDLS became NLA, they just dropped it from the build, went back to the standard headlights, and had the dealer notify me... Now it worked out ok in the end as Porsche came up with the revised PDLS (not plus) version and I was able to add LED's back on my car, but the point is Porsche can and will drop options from your build if need be...

Maybe. Maybe not.
