In 2-3 weeks i’ll be installing akrapovic OAP with stock headers and exhaust then make a sound video and then later i’ll be installing akrapovic evolution headers and make 1 more sound clip video for you guys and then finally JCR rear muffler with akrapovic’s oap and headers but JCR told me 6-8 weeks for valved rear section. So it is gonna be step by step for you

For those that have aftermarket exhausts, can you actually hear it over the intake noise in the 4RS? Not trying to be critical here, but beyond the debated "power" gains from an exhaust system are you really just spending money for other people to hear your car?

People refer to it as "intake noise" on the 4RS but if you own one there's actually various different intake noises. 3-5k is more of a suction type noise(not extremely loud), 6k+ is more of a louder build up and 8-9k is the ungodly metallic raspiness noise that hits you in the chest and gets to 105DB which makes you want to hit 8-9k over and over. 3-5k is honestly fairly quiet and even 6k isn't insanely loud.

Now that we have that out of the way. I installed my Fabspeed over axle pipes on Sunday(I'll do a full review post later when I have some time) and they actually sound OEM like under 4k because the valves stay closed. However, when the valves open the car sounds way more throatier/aggressive(30% louder than stock) 4-7k and then 7-9k the intake noise takes over and drowns out the exhaust. It was 100% worth it for 2k to pickup that throatier exhaust sound from 4-7k, get 20-30hp by deleting the secondary cats/OPF's and save a bit of weight.

With a rear section + OAP's then it might start fighting that 7-9k noise but won't know until some have the setups for testing.

Well, to me wouldn't be a matter of what other people hear, but what I'd hear.

This is what I'd love to hear :

Yes

Soul headers and competition OAP with factory rear section is a very good choice. Gives that 991 gt3 edge .

Quiet w valves closed and exhaust sound is now distinct from intake sound from driver's seat which was not the case with factory system.

Also headers w/o better OAP makes the car feel constipated. Both together really open up the flow and sound. I like the titanium tips so I am sacrificing a few more HP by keeping the factory muffler. The biggest gains are with comp OAP and adding headers really brings the car alive.

I’ve not seen a good video on the Kline GT4 RS setup. Not sure if this is the full kit or minus headers. And if it is with headers, which ones were used. Finally found a price for the Inconel set up as well. Looks like it’s just shy of $9k for Inconel. Rear section and OAP in that price.

Sounds great!

Friend just had his Stainless Steel Kline headers crack on his 718 Spyder. Kind of concerns me with the Kline quality now. It came apart at the welds.

Just ordered the Fabspeed rear section to pair with my OAP's. After speaking with them they are saying it'll have the GT3 high pitch scream I want since they tested different variations to get that sound, no drone(OEM valves and hemholz chambers) and I can reuse our amazing looking Weissach tips. I'll post a review once I get it and installed.
