Hi I’m a new member to the 718 forum, my Wife and I just picked our new Baby a 22 Spyder.
Can anyway tell me the Coolant temp spec’s on a at temperature running engine?
I noticed driving home, about 15 klm’s she rose to 104 -105C, ambient temperature was 20-22C.
I’m use to my Cayenne Diesel staying steady at 90C.
Cheers.

These cars run hot. Has been discussed several times on here.

Steady state coolant temp is 221F. If you have a PDK, going to PDK Sport will lower this to 205F.
Put the car under stress and the e-stat will drop it to around 184F rapidly.
This is for peak emissions.

New engines need break in to loosen up which will result in a beneficial op temp reduction. Oil temp is equally important. You’re seeing nothing to be concerned with. Enjoy your new car.

Cayenne coolant temp is not a real time number, It stays pegged at 90*C, unless during warm up or if something is wrong.
I don’t think the coolant temp changes if you go in sport mode in a non GT car. It is oil temp that drops. That’s what I saw in my Macan and 991 C2S.
GT cars coolant temp shows you real time fluctuations.

My GTS 4.0 seems to be around 220F which is exactly what my Targa 4S does.
