718 Spyder Nurburgring Fast Lap - 7.17 BTG
Hello guys!
Here I share a good lap with my Spyder at this week MR Nordschleife trackday.
The car is manual, 100% stock except the alignment of the OEM suspensions.
Tyres are worn Trofeo R with about 50 laps from 2021.
Setup is not perfect because the rear is very light at high speeds and under heavy braking…anyway it’s maybe also more fun because of that!
Love this car and the way you can push it without aero, PDK and other bits…

Ideal time on RaceChrono was 7.13 😅
Wonder what I could see with some proper Cup2R 😈 in another lucky zero traffic lap
+ exhaust and suspension mods it would go under 7 … greatest all purpose car ever in my opinion !

Hope I’m wrong but that looks like a fake lap. Look closer at the right front fender and the scenery, it looks wrong. That’s a 414hp car and the fastest 718 BTG I have ever seen was by Xthilox in a 4RS at 7:12. And he’s a Ring expert..

here a 7.20, full tank and some humidity on the track here and there
PS. I have some hundreds laps on the Ring also. Xthilox doesn’t actually drive a Gt4RS (I think he’s waiting for one) but a Gt4 PDK with full MR package including light forged wheels and a custom carbon bonnet; his 7.12 is also with TrofeoR (a bit fresher)…we were there on the same day

No sh*t. I am aware. Those are pro drivers. I'm referring to amateur drivers. Did you miss I said BTG? Seems all you do is try to correct people on their posts and reposts. I was on the 997.2RS forum for a decade and never ran into anyone near as much of an asshat as you.
Official laptime for my car (718 Spyder manual) is 7.30 on 20.4 km that’s equal to 7.12 btg.
