Seems odd. I think you're getting strung along.

My local dealer is small. by december 2020 they had sold about 10 GT4s, had a couple on the way yet to be delivered and I was next on the list for my allocation. it's possible they only got mine and 1 or 2 other 2022's, but now we're into 2023 allocations so i'd be surprised if your dealer was lower volume than my own, especially with a 14 person wait list when you first signed up (which should have had people move on long ago from spots above you, especially during the start of covid when everyone abandoned their purchases.

Unless you're more equal than others. I race with someone who's on his 2nd 992 touring allocation, a 4rs on the way (that he didn't even want I am pretty sure) and i'm sure will have a 3rs on the way shortly as soon as allocations get released for that

Meanwhile some pleb like me is happier than hell I got blessed with a mere GT4 allocation.

Ditto on the “happier than hell” bit. I couldn’t be more pleased with my spyder.

Chance of any high demand car is proportional to total spend. Ie past purchase/ service history, number of trades, how much options, ADM, PPF, extended warranty….etc…etc.

Bigger/ Premier dealer have more allocations but also more clients looking for cars.

Waiting list is just a list. I think most dealer will let $ trump number on a list.

JMHO.
