Default Rear Brake Caliper Hanging Up/Dragging?

The right rear caliper on my '21 GT4 (5300 miles) has been hanging up, it started this past Friday and has done it off and on since. I am making an appointment at the dealer to get it looked at, but surprised it is even occurring at all; car has the steel brakes. Has anyone else run into this issue?

Thanks in advance!

Someone posted something similar in this forum within the past year. Don't recall ever seeing a post about the ultimate resolution.

Got to the bottom of this one, somehow, a 10mm bolt found its way in and lodged its self in the caliper. So they got it out, but it ruined the rotor, requiring a new one plus a set of pads... cool, a $2100, 10MM bolt, lol, smh

Ouch. Did the 10mm bolt come from your car or did you pick it up on the road?

Be thankful that you don't have PCCB. It was always a worry of mine on my 991.1 GT3.

Picked it up on the road, it was at least in an inch long too. Definitely a first for me, lol.

Didn't even think about it that way, that would have been a crusher

Yes. That's why my GT4 will have steel brakes, if I ever get an allocation. With all of the road debris out there, it's always on the back of your mind when you're driving.

This is the 2nd P-car with PCCBs and I never think about it - love the bite, clean wheels, etc. And I have never had a problem.

It’s never in the back of my mind while I’m driving. At worst it’s an insurance claim.
