Has anyone installed the “2-valve with factory PSE button control” version of the Cargraphic valve controller? The option to use the PSE button would be great, to avoid using up the HomeLink buttons for the exhaust control. That said, I don’t want to cut the carpet under the drivers seat, which is shown in the install instructions (image below). I just got my 718 Spyder and haven’t taken out the driver’s seat before. Feeling underneath, it seems there is a split in the carpet already, but it’s tough to tell if that provides a removable flap or not.

If anyone has installed the Cargraphic 2-valve PSE button control version can you let me know if you needed to cut the carpet? Otherwise, if anyone has photos of the area underneath the drivers seat for a 718 Spyder (or GT4, I assume) that would be helpful. If no takers… I’ll remove my drivers seat and check out the situation. I assume the Cargraphic instructions are correct and you need to cut the carpet. Just crossing my fingers that isn’t the case.

The carpet is not 100% precut for you, Porsche a little NOT cut. You can either put your fingers in the holes and pull(which tears away the little not cut), or VERY carefully cut the little remaining away, which I did.
The carpet is not removed, just flopped over to one side BTW.

Regarding the home link system, I've tried many times to set it up with the remote valve controller but with no success.

Does anyone can tell me the right way to make it works?

thanks

I'm pretty sure you can install it without cutting the carpet. But you will have to remove a lot of the interior trim pieces and the seatbelt anchor. Then you could just fold up the carpet and gain access to the module.

Thanks, that makes sense based on what I could feel / see without removing the seat. Helpful to get some confirmation there.

Yeh, not jazzed about removing trim pieces, but at least that’s reversible.

Anyone know what signals are being pulled from the gateway near the fuse box? It’s position 6 and 16 from the plug (orange-brown and orange-black, respectively). I’m assuming this is power and ground, but can’t find a wiring diagram for this connector.

I have that one on my car...they probably sell it to Cargraphics.
Installation is not difficult if you follow the instructions carefully...the most difficult part is getting to that CAN BUS plug under the dash driver side...the knee air bag is right there.
The system remembers your last setup for the exhaust only. Very clean solution but not cheap.

On paper, I love the idea, but I am not cutting my carpet.

It's already cut.....just a few small places to open it up. It was design like that so the modules and wiring harness could be service
