What if you added nav via the retrofit option (and have the GPS antenna of course), should that option still be greyed out?

@TubaFreak You need to enable Auto Time Sync to the cluster selection with PIWIS.... See post #163 in this thread; https://rennlist.com/forums/718-gts-...it-diy-11.html

Right, somehow I had forgotten that. Oh well, another reason to get PIWIS hooked up to my car lol. Thanks for the info.

Car did not have nav, however enabled (and now working) with MIB. (No cluster nav, but PCM nav is all working).

And correction I have an auto timezone checkbox that's greyed out but checked ...

@isthar, @TubaFreak and others: To get the GPS autotime for my gt4 without factory Nav, I use post 893 of the OEM Navigation Retrofit DIY thread to get the Nav to show on my cluster with the X-431. Then I check autotime to GPS in the cluster. Not sure if the step in post 893 was necessary but I did that first.

Now a question to those experts on the X-431, when I install the GPS antenna, the PCM still say that the GPS antenna is not there. Do I need to change the code in the PCM so that it say the GPS antenna is there? If so can we do it with our X-431?

Won't allow me to set anything beyond 255, so I did that for both first operation and next operation.

Do you have needles lighted all the time - I believe the only way is to run full Scandinavian DRL setting?

Ended up getting the Launch X431 CRP919E version since its a lot cheaper than the top end, there's a newer CRP919EBT (wireless bluetooth) that some might want to consider as well.

I realize this is old, but haven't found an answer. Does anyone know if it's possible to change the sport exhaust valve opening to something other than 3800 rpm....or is this a hardware issue?

Nope, this is controlled by a relatively complicated map in the DME that is not configurable in PIWIS. Tuners like APR, M-engineering, etc... can change it.

All dials and needles is Scadi setting which is:
FRONT END ELECTRONICS > Coding Value - Exterior Lights, DDL with marker light = Yes
