Any bets as to when the configurator switches over to MY2024 for 4RS? My SA said that all of their MY23s have been given out to customers...and that they can see MY24 in their Electronic Handling Board but can't place the official orders yet. I'm promised one of those MY24s (i know i know), but I'm excited for the configurator to switchover so I can give him a ring! Maybe PTS and PCCBs will be back

Yes, high RPM at highway speeds is the one thing I would say Porsche decided track over street for the 4RS. I would have been very simple to have an overdrive gear which would have reduced RPMS for over 3,000 to down to a bit over 2,000 - and made the sound better. Everyday street driving is no problem in the 4RS, but highway driving is not ideal.
I agree the rpm on interstate are very high and I wish 7th gear could be a lot taller. But I think Porsche kept 7th short ratio to get the best time around the Nuberring.(Perhaps also to answer all the customers who complained about the GT4 gearing being too tall.)
Always best to ask your SA to check. TYD is never accurate.
Mine started production on 10/24 and shows completion CP8 this friday 2/17. I've been punted 3 times already usually the monday/tuesday after the CP8 date it was showing, so in 1 week from now I should know if it confirmed or not.
But just to say that mine is also without any updates since at least December.

To second this, mine started 10/12 and was slated to complete 2/17. Pleasant surprise yesterday when it completed production 3 days early! Although, still doesn't make up for the 9 delays before that.... Just happy to be getting closer to the finish line.

Interesting, my YTD says that my car starts production on Friday (2/17) and will be completed next Friday (2/24). I won't hold my breathe but I'll check my YTD next week to see what it says.
Wow... TYD was having some issues these past few days but looks like the fully revamped it? Thoughts on the new changes? If only it came with shipping the car faster to the west coast...
