Walter Rohrl praises GT4 in 964 Video
This may be of interest to GT4 owners. Pretty high praise for GT4 for him to reference it and no other Porsche. Walter Rohrl is interviewed about 964 Carrera 3.8 RS and references Cayman GT4. He basically says GT4 reminds him of 964 in terms of “being one piece with the car”. Perhaps the small size of Cayman is reminiscent of older 911. If you don’t want to watch entire video and just want to get to the reference start at 7:14. But I did enjoy the entire video about a rare Porsche.

DAMN that 3.8 RS is STUNNING!
I recall in an earlier video WR stated that his favorite car was his 964 Carrera RS ... because "when it goes fast he know's that its because he is driving well"...

All of us 718 GT owners are hella fortunate. The capability of the cars, coupled with the scarcity and the coming EV paradigm shift...it doesn't get much better than this (IMO). (No GTS disrespect intended, of course.)

I have a 964 and can confirm that the GT4 is probably the closest modern experience you're going to get to that, but with that being said the GT4 is light years more fun and easy to drive

To be fair, we're not talking about a run of the mill 964 in the video. Not even a "normal" 964RS (which was never sold here, except for the neutered RS America). The RS 3.8 is a very special beast...
