Configured a Spyder with Voodoo blue. Then went to a local dealership and saw Voodoo blue on a 992 Turbo S in person. Completely different colors, looked in person like I expected Riviera blue to look like. Trust the configurator at your own risk.

Yeah I think trusting the configurator for colors beyond "yup, that's blue" is a mistake, especially when you're trying to pick up on subtle shade differences.

FWIW, I wish anthracite was almost black and that the configurator didn’t lie to me, but I still like it better than the default trim or carbon fiber

This completely changed my thoughts of GB, and Chalk along with some others. It is a bit crazy to see how it affects the colors...sometimes in a good or bad way. I don't think colors like Chalk or some of the nicer silvers will reflect/come across well in the 2 tone background.

A very good and easy to find example of this is the Anthracite brushed aluminum trim. The configurator makes it appear almost black. It’s nowhere near that color in person, and it’s widely available at dealers (I think it’s a GT only spec so a lot of people with GT cars pick it).
