I just heard that Michelin is shutting production of some tire lines in Europe due to shortages caused by the war in Ukraine. No April fool joke, so if you need tires better grab them quick.

 

Good thing I ordered and received my set of Cup2s.

 

@tigerhonaker I know Terry is up to date on this. If he hasn't heard about this, he will want to.

 

It's been hard to find certain Michelin's for the past 6+ months. Looks like they'll only be getting harder to find.

 

Been waiting for Super Sports or PS4S to become available to replace my tires for like a month and a half. Awesome news indeed

 

Shortages have been here for a bit. Unfortunately likely to last for a while.

 

Don't worry, looks like lots of Kumho Ecsta's in stock still!

^ WHAT? I was told that if you run anything other than N-spec (or whatever that BS is) Porsche recommended tires you got permabanned from RL. Have I been tricked?

Not just Michelin. There are backorders for every desirable performance street tire for the GT4/Spider sizes right now. Sport cup 2, maxx race 2, supercar 3, A052, etc all on back order at tirerack in the US.

Hope I don’t get a flat…
