Well, it wasn’t a joke for me. My April 1 CP8 date magically turned into an Apr 22 CP8 date last night.
TBH, I wondered if my delay wasn’t related to your factory shut down rumor. I’m wondering if anyone else has heard anything.

They are still having TPMS issues, among other things. I have a Cayenne GTS sitting at Emden for 2 months now, apparently unable to leave due to TPMS. I have been told it is affecting 911/718 model lines also.

Porsche should go with the VW tech from my old Passat. No sensors. It reads the wheel RPMs from the traction control to look for differences in rotation between all 4 tires. A tire with low inflation shows up as a different Rotation from the others and throws a warning!

Maybe, maybe not. The chip shortage is real and affecting all manufacturers to one degree or another. And TPMS is a federal requirement in the US now, so even though it's a rather mundane thing, cars cannot be sold without it.
