GT4 RS Aero mods
Has anyone looked into fitting parts from the RS on the regular GT4?
Front side blades:
these should create more downforce in the front. The car does need this in my opinion for track.

You do realize that those parts aren't available yet since the car hasn't even been released yet. SmH

When available, the front side blades (or whatever they are called) should be a direct fit swap based on what the current one looks like and where they both start near the intakes. But as stated, it will be a while.

I personally hope these aero bits that are transferrable from the 4RS will be available for purchase without the need for VIN. Once my car gets its eventual DeMan 4.5 upgrade, I would love to give it the extra factory 4RS aero improvements

All you need to do is find a VIN online and give the parts dept. it - I have done it before for parts.

This is great news! (it's my first P-Car so wasn't sure how strict they would be on buying specialty parts without showing some form of ownership proof). Thanks for the tip

I have been thinking about the RS front curtains, as it looks like it provides some of the same benefits as front dive planes/canards. I agree that it should also fit, BUT it also looks like the front edge aligns cleanly with the GT4 RS front bumper lip/splitter, which extends just a bit further forward than the standard GT4 lip does.
If this is the case, then the join area won't be entirely flush, as the RS air curtains will likely protrude just a bit further. I hope this isn't the case, but in case it is, I think that join will look a bit funny unless there's some way of modifying it to be a more flush fit.
OR, install the RS front lip/splitter. The problem with this (for me) is that without nose lift, the front end is already as low as I want to go.
Any thoughts?
Also...the wing...YES. But I think we should be prepared for $$$$. It think the stock wing is somewhere north of $5k, and the club sport wing is about $7k or so. In carbon (visible or to be painted), I'm sure the RS wing will be very, very expensive.

Additional downforce also requires additional spring support and PASM calibrations.
Especially when dealing with suspension and downforce, you have to keep going down the line to keep everything in balance and in tune with each other.

Personally I’m running about 3* camber and have lifted the rear rideheight.
Looking at the GT4 RS CS the front splitter and side blade are not 100% aligned.

I love all the sh*t talking to someone who’s just creating some discussion. All he said was the front lip and side curtain don’t line up seamlessly, he realizes that’s a CS.

Isn’t this like slapping an M3-badge on a 330i?

But the RS side curtains with the standard GT4 front lip might result in a more awkward join where it’s more of a step/gap. There might be an easy, good solve, but it’s worth taking note of.
Again, not an issue if you’re planning on adding the RS splitter. I’m hoping the curtains can be added without doing so, because I would love the idea of adding some more front downforce without reducing the front ride height.
