Ah. I'm pretty up on my Porsche acronyms but that one eluded me.

 

@RideOn its not an official acronym AFIAK ... just one "in use" by RL'ers and relatively "recognizable" by those familiar with previous GT RS offerings (originally as I recall only GT2RS, but also subsequently offered on the 3RS)

If you could go pts with no WP that would be my choice and have a Pastel Orange or Rubystar color.

From standard color I would go black, but white looks nice too even if way more busy because of all the black details

I love Arctic Grey. But with a chalk 2RS, 3T, 4 and Macan already in the garage, the 4RS might feel out of place. Having said that, while I'll probably get Weissach package, I ain't coughing up for PTS!!!

Totally agree, my current GT4 is PG.....first I went with white (default), then Arctic grey (same combo as launch cars) but while all those colors look nice I like GT cars in bright colors and I wasn't 100% happy with my choice, specially given I couldn't combine the interiors with other exterior colors.
So...at the end decided to bite the bullet and choose PTS...I know, more $$$$ but color is something I think I shouldn't compromise, not even a little bit. RY is an option but my 981 was RY and didn't want to repeat it. PG would have been OK.
PTS does come with a little bit of gambling, my dealer informed me that the only PTS order so far is mine and it will get priority.....so no matter the position on the list as soon as they get a PTS allocation they will lock my build to it. This could swing both ways, either I move up front on the list or go back until PTS is available. This lame standard color options is probably a way for Porsche to boost PTS orders now that they announce expanded PTS capacity....nice way to boost profits.

Since you will use it mainly for track I think you should consider

Red
WP
Blue wheels
Blue interior
Blue stickers instead of the black ones.

You would definitely stand out on track.
