Skafia,
I remember you from the Honda-Tech and/or Super Honda forums back in the day (late 90s very early 2000s). I went by JRitt back then as well. I owned 1998 Integra Type R #765. Do you still have your R? I saw it in your sig, but didn't know if you still had it.

Anyway, just saw this post today and love the spec on your car. That is an amazing build! I have a 987 Boxster in the same color, and Pastel Orange is killer in person. Yours may be a little nicer, but as they say, great minds...

Hey! My 98 ITR #1076 was stolen back in 2004. She only had 30k miles or so at the time. She was recovered a year later completely stripped and was restored by another HT member (Jackson) only to be stolen and again and never recovered. I just bough the one I have now a few months ago, I have never let her out of my sight lol!

Wow, your car looks amazing! I love the open top with the orange seat backs! It reminds me of the humps in the back of the S2000 CR!

Oh man...the ITR drama is real. Back when I had mine, someone tried to steal it from my crowded office building parking lot at 10am in broad daylight. The only thing that saved it was a hidden kill switch the previous owner had installed. They tore the heck out of the steering column trying to get it started. I eventually sold it and moved on to a 350Z...good move, right? Every friend I've ever known with an R had either a theft attempt on it, or it was successfully stolen. One of my friends traded his Phoenix Yellow '00 in to a dealer, and it was stolen from the dealer's lot the very next day. Those cars are the biggest thief magnet of all time...unreal. I'm glad you have one safe in your possession! I subsequently tried an S2000, but I'm too tall for the darn thing (hence the Boxster). I almost bought another Type R, but after the Boxster gave me the mid engine itch, I ended up with a '91 NSX since I'm still a Honda fanboy at heart. The Boxster gave me the Porsche bug, so I picked up a 997.2 C2S as well. It's a disease.

Thanks on the Boxster! It's one of my favorite cars I've ever owned, and the orange color makes it feel really unique. These PCar mid engine chassis are phenomenal. If I ever spec my own from Porsche, it's going to look just like yours. Great work...it's stunning!
Anyway, good to 'see' you again here on Rennlist. Enjoy those beauties in your stable.

Here's a quick clip of the Kline exhaust. I'm testing some new microphones and the roads were a little bit crowded so I didn't go WOT. Next week I should be able to fine tune the setup for a sweet canyon run.

This exhaust sounds amazing, especially the cracks and pops. Drone is minimal to nonexistent, it really transform the GT4. Thanks again @SupremePower !

Is the crackle and pop just an effect of the exhaust? I really like the tone but I can't stand crackle and pops....

I think this is just the car itself because I can sometimes hear the crackle/pop with the stock exhaust very subtly.

Had some fun at Angeles Crest Highway this weekend with a friend and his 981 GT4. I'm a tad bit disappointed because his car sounds better than mine and he didn't have to pay thousands for an aftermarket exhaust :/

Video here with some side by side comparisons of the car and some canyon runs:

Is the 718 running a stock exhaust in that video?

You feel the 981 exhaust sounds better than your Kline?

Ar least from what I heard with the revs, you can listen in on the video... the 981 sounds way more throatier and has more character.

Got my mics working, this was this morning with a few SoCal rennlisters. The way up was so much better with more cars in a view as I was 4th and camera was mounted up front but silly me turned the GoPro off instead of on. Looks like I'll have to come back soon .

Exhaust is Kline Inconel with matching OAP.
