I echo your comments. From a 992s cab to boxster anniversary. For a weekend car it’s the best. Mine got the soul oap and exhaust prior to my delivery along with cargraphic valve controller. The drone is a little pronounced from 2k-3k but it is glorious everywhere else. The solution to drone? Top down baby!

Congrats Dan! I'm glad to see you're loving it. I too had no grinds or issues with the transmission. I'm picking up the car from ppf Wednesday evening and will get out Friday for a beautiful fall drive. I'm hoping some leaves remain on the tree, but I doubt it.
yes, more pics please!

SPASM vs. PASM. I was on the fence on this option, but after reading a lot and taking some advice from friends here, I opted for the SPASM. The car rides great, and the handling is just superb. The engineers have tuned this suspension to perfection. I want to thank my friends here for nudging me in the right direction. Oh, and yes, the car does look good at the lowered height.

4.0 engine. Trying to keep it under 4K is not easy. This baby wants to run. I do not miss the turbos and looking forward to post break in.

Transmission gearing? It’s a non-issue for me. It shifts well, no grinds, and it has more snickity snick than my 992 had. Six speeds is enough.

Exhaust note. It’s quiet but there. I imagine when I open it up above 4k RPM it’s going to let itself be known.

Side vent screens. Ummm, on my 2022, it already has side vent screens. I’ll be posting mine for sale.

Zunsport front screens. Easy to install, look great.

Shark Blue. I love it. The dealership loved it. People beep their horns at me and give me thumbs up. Others in the fast lane slow down and hang on my rear quarter for awhile checking it out.

Blue extended stitching on black leather. Perfect. With the carbon fiber trim, more perfecter. CF lighted door sills, the mostest perfectedness. Loving the interior. I did not like the over-techiness of my 992 and happy to return to tactile switches and simpler controls.

Bose. I really worried that I should have purchased the Burmester. I have yet to turn it on. I may never turn it on. Good choice.

Time machine option. I didn’t realize this was a standard option. Activation was easy: turn the key, lower top, engage transmission, and I was 18 again.

I haven’t been this happy in a car for many years. This is the Goldilocks Porsche for me. Right size. Right power. Right suspension.
Awesome, congrats!! Look beautiful! Great spec.

Comments:
  • SPASM is the best!! I love mine. I highly recommend running the tires at 29-30 psi cold, It gets even better with the DSC added.
  • The engine is the best. Love that NA feel and sound!
  • Gearing - complete non-issue for me as well. You will learn to downshift into first (after break-in) going into to a 90 degree turn for maximum fun (on B-Roads only). Stock shifter is great, but an update to the GT4 shifter or the Numeric one makes it even better.
  • Exhaust note - I haven't fully solved that one yet, I have gone off the deep end, hope to have my perfect solution soon. Lots of choices!
  • Love the Shark Blue! Particularly with a Boxster, it increases the amount of Black contrast.
  • Blue Stitching with CF Trim and Door Sills - Sounds AMAZING! Pics!
  • Bose - 7 months and 13,000 miles, and I have not turned it on once. Totally serious. Don't plan to. I would do the PCM delete, but I like the Apple CarPlay for Nav and Maps, and Text Messages. (Siri even understands at high speeds if you raise your voice.)
  • Right size, right power, right suspension - couldn't agree more. You and I had discussed this versus a 992 GTS - I decided not to get one, I like the 718 4.0's better. For the price a loaded 992 GTS is, I would rather spend a little more an have *2* 718 4.0's...

Enjoy!!

Of course the loud voice keeps saying NO ALLOCATIONS

Congrats to you Dan and best wishes for top down weather.
