Put a $1k deposit down for a '22 today. I'm 5th in line so pretty likely i'll get an allocation. I'm speaking to a number of other dealers as well to see what their waiting list looks like.

Of course! But I never say never and don't under estimate perseverance..lol And thanks for your support

Just spoke with my dealer and they've received no indication that the order books will close prior to a 2023 MY. Regardless, I have purchased 2 new Porsches in under 12 months so that may help as well.

You would hope things / production would resume normal pace, but now that covid round II is heating up, I wonder if my Feb spyder delivery date is now morphing into "TBD sometime way out in the future". Being fifth in line, just to get an allocation would seem like an eternity.
