Shark Blue wheel color?
Shark blue with Silver or Black wheels?
Currently have black selected on my build but second guessing. Especially after the Tedward video of the Maritime Blue example.

I think this question requires some more datapoints in order to receive more useful feedback.
1. PCCB or standard brakes? (no brake dust or lots of brake dust)
2. accompanying caliper color or option to paint black? (caliper color may influence your wheel color choice depending on the look you're going for)
3. interior stitching color to match calipers? (again, caliper color may influence your wheel color choice depending on the look you're going for)
4. do you want the satin black wheels so you can match other satin black bits on car or are you ok with silver "clashing" since no other silver bits on car? (Spyder and Porsche logo are chrome but close I suppose)
5. if standard brakes, are you ok cleaning silver wheels ALL OF THE TIME?
6. if you curb the black wheels, it will be very noticeable whereas silver might hide it a little more
7. cars tend to come with "silver" wheels so if you go black, you'll stand out a little from the norm

2.Yellow
3.Yellow
4. thats the question
5 nope, pccb
6. never curbed a wheel, knock on wood
7. shark blue will stand out from the norm on its own
The configurator cars above are my exact spec. Currently with Black wheels but contemplating the change back to silver and saving a grand.

I voted Satin Black if it comes with the PCCBs.

I am sort of in the same boat. Trying to decide between Platinum or Silver. For me at least, I find black wheels are overdone and slapped on everything now and often standard equipment! Most higher trim levels of anything of interest now has black wheels.

Shark blue is a low flop, flattish color. I think satin black wheels just extend that flat look, whereas silver adds some pop and contrast.

I think the Platinum would flow better with the other darker accents and provide some light contrast...I find the black wheels getting lost in the other black accents. Also, it's a shame he didn't have many positives to say about the Spyder /s

For me, I started with the silver wheels because I like the wheel design and I didn't mind the silver to help show it rather than hide it. My wife wanted black because she wanted the aggressive look and for me, the black wheels look nice but IMO, they hide the design of the wheels. Then I found out they have a middle ground with platinum. Saw it on another car and my wife and I said that's the color. Not too dark and not too light and it's also a wheel color that we've never had on our cars so that's what we went with.
Any reason why you're not considering platinum?
Since you have PCCB, silver will be nice but IMO, it gives the car a "friendly" look and vibe. If you pick the black wheels, IMO it gives the car a mean and aggressive vibe.

I've been debating the same thing on my GTS build and I really don't think you can go wrong with either.
Despite black wheels being overdone these days I think I'm leaning that way. I think they look fantastic on the Spyder (and the GTS) with all the black exterior trim and the black interior.
I feel like black wheels probably make the overall look more cohesive and highlights the Shark Blue color more, whereas the sliver wheels will definitely pop.

On my Spyder with platinum wheels, the barrels are painted too. Are they like that for the GTS models? If only the face is painted and the barrels are bare, maybe that's what the difference is attributed to.

My vote - anything but black (and that extends to all colours and cars LoL).

Doing black on mine, I'll probably have 2 sets of tires one for winter so if I don't like it I can always change it

I went with silver on mine mainly because I’ll end up going aftermarket anyways. Maybe go black and if you really want silver, I’ll have a set available 😉
