I really should not have watched all the new gt3 touring YouTube videos. OMG does that car sound good!

 

It sure does but if you think the GT3 sounds good, check out the Lexus LFA. The BEST sounding car ever.

 

Gt3s do sound special. 991.1 gt3 was absolutely epic. Engine sounded like it was going to fall apart between 8000 and 9000.

 

 

I think some of them did and had to be warrantied, right?!

 

Even though I realize I have ZERO chance, I put my name on the GT3 touring list at a local no-adm dealership. It's like buying a lottery ticket... lol One which will cost me $200k if I "win".

 

Ah yes, the halo car gets the full exhaust treatment from the mothership. I would expect no less, and it does show they can meet all the regs (which must be very difficult) and make it sound blended and smooth.

 

I miss my 981 GT4 sound (with the upgrades of course)....so close to a GT3. Hoping that Dundon come with a nice solution with their upcoming 718 GT4/Spyder rear muffler because the OEM muffler is No-Good.

 

Hoping to get close to that sound with my JCR exhaust which came 7 months ago.... still waiting on the car but hope to have the two meet in early August

Let us know but IMO you do need a proper muffler back there with both banks merged to emulate the GT3 sound.

 

Agree, I loved the sound of my Dundon equipped 981 GT4.

 

Better than a GT3 here. I’ve had the 991.2 GT3 and 718 GT4. GT4 takes the GT3 in sound I think:

 

Here's a short video of the 981 at WOT....IMHO orgasmic sound hoping the 718 can get close enough.
