Look at the original picture taken from source :

See it there is any resemblance.

If you think this looks like british racing green, you probably shouldn’t comment on colour clashes in other threads (and yes I find criticizing someone’s new ride bad form, but that’s just me, I just generally keep those comments to myself).

I don't comment on color threads (have in the past and regret saying anything bad, ill-conceived or disrespectful towards anyone else's color choice)
maybe this person saw the market (as hot! hot! hot!) and tried to make a buck (and is still trying)
or
maybe they took delivery (and as has been postulated) realized this color didn't work for them
doesn't really matter
our last 5 Porsches have all been yellow and I know full well 90% of the buying public doesn't care for yellow
but we buy them to drive them
it's a shame a PTS slot was used by someone and not kept as the buyer's car "to be driven" considering how difficult it seems to be to get a PTS slot
be we don't know the person's situation
I've decided to go all black if I ever buy another Porsche
that way I can have it wrapped in whatever color I want
and if I get tired of that color, I'll just have the wrap redone
no more playing Porsche's silly games that this color is special, that color used to be special and this color is not special enough for you to get
back in the day when the first GT4 came out (and they were sold out and you couldn't get one), I said I'd be happy to have one in any color, even pink
so, I'd be happy to have this Spyder and drive the wheels off, but not at this price
