I've wondered a this so thought I would ask: the manual states the fuel tank capacity is approx. 17 gallons with a reserve of approximately 2.1 gallons. So does this in effect mean tge total capacity is 19.1 gallons? Or does it mean the low fuel warning comes on when there are 2.1 gallons remaining?

 

Based on my experience, I've had the mileage remaining down to 37 miles and it's never taken 15 gallons at the pump, so it seems to me that the 16.9 gal tank includes a 2.1 gal dashboard buffer.

 

At about 30 miles remaining, I filled it with little under 16 gal.
