Hi All! Odd question that is just curiosity...how many miles were on your brand new car when you picked it up from the dealer? I've seen listings with miles as low as 2 and some over 15...
(this applies to customer spec allocations, not dealer specs that were sold off the lot)...what is typical?
If I could figure out how to make a poll I would...

I ordered my GT4. It had 8 mi on it when it arrived at the local dealership. And then once they did PDI prep and test, it had 10 miles once I took delivery.

I think my GTS 4.0 had 9 when it showed up at the dealer.

I bought a '21 GRSpyder off the lot and when I picked it up much to my chagrin there was 40 miles on the digital counter. The advert listed 18 so I was unpleasantly surprised. Just a data point. I got a great deal and a no contact sale on a car I love so I'm not mad.... just disappointed :P

I wonder where the miles come from? The car rolls off the factory floor...onto a carrier that takes it to port....rolls onto the ship....rolls off the ship....usually rolls to a carrier that takes it to the dealer.....then the dealer does PDI, etc. Not to over-analyze, just curious how that turns into 10+ miles on the odometer in many cases...

I believe they run the engine at the factory on a dyno type machine with a rear wheel roller in the QC process.
