Default Anybody have any BGTS 4.0 allocations?

My local SA is telling me "maybe" July (which also means maybe not) and I don't want to wait until I'm dead to get my car, spec'ed the way I want it.

Thanks

I am in a similar situation. I live in Missouri and the two nearest dealers placed me on a waiting list with no guarantees. I was hoping to order PTS, but I am unsure if that requires a special allocation within a given time window.

He's saying "maybe" because he doesn't know when the chip shortage or the stop sale will end. There are two factors that are affecting production of cars right now. Getting a Boxster GTS 4.0 should not be hard at all. If you want I can refer you to my SA, but again you would have to wait for the green light.

If an allocation is not too late in the model year it can be spec'd with PTS.

I think you need a special allocation for PTS.

Same answer from my SA - they expect the next round of allocations mid summer, delivery Q4 this year (lousy time for those of us who get snow-bound; I'd think they'd focus on delivering Cayennes and Macans then. Our Cayenne is great in snow... but the Boxster S goes in storage for the winter... I'll do the same with the GTS when it appears).

Agreed. As soon as they salt the roads, it goes away until Spring.

They told me they got a grand total of one for the next quarter.
And didn't say it was available. But who knows?

It seems like GTS 4.0 allocations are much rarer than GT4/Spyder allocations. Wonder why that is the case? Is it just because demand is much lower?

For only on the road, the GTS seems like the perfect package.

Thanx to all. Got an allocation and my order is in, supposedly a Fall delivery (no specifics due to the Aug factory shutdown in Zuff for vacay.)
