Default GT4 PCCB Fitment

Does anyone know if the 718 Cayman GT4 shares the same brake with any other 911?

Fronts are 410 and rears are 390 just like the 991 GT3 RS
New on Suncoast shows $27.000 for a Cayman PCCB.
I checked Teile.com and their site shows as if the Cayman Rotors only fit Cayman and Boxster.

I am trying to be sure...

Can I buy a preowned 991 GT3 RS PCCB and use it on a 718 GT4 Cayman

Check the 718 "GT4" forum...someone answered this question within the past few weeks. I believe the answer was "no", due to some difference in hats. I could be mistaken though. If your goal is "save money, but buy larger rotor", a full set of "bolt on steel replacements" is available for ~$3,500 US.

If you want PCCB at a cheaper price, just get a set of Surface Transforms: https://www.autoquestcars.com/custom-11
Better in every way, and at 50% of the OEM price ($12000).

They fit the 981 GT4, which shares the same brake setup as the 718 GT4

You can also look into Surface Transforms - about 1/2 the cost of OEM and they have a US distributor not sure if they have 718 GT4 fitments yet.

I did not actually try this but according to my research, the brakes on the GT4 is a mixture of components from other Porsches

So it looks like the most common ones are found in 2017 GT3 RS and 2018 GT2 RS for Front Disc Rotor and Front & Rear Calipers. The rear disc rotors is the only problem since if you cannot find a 718 Cayman or Boxster one, it has to be from a 992 Carrera. I am not sure if this difference is from the diameter of the rotor or because of the offset of the bell housing.

If someone can chime in and clarify if the size is different between the 992 Carrera and the 991.2 GT2RS/GT3RS, it would be great.

I am not sure this helps but I upgraded the "Reds" on my 2019 Targa GTS to "Yellows" (PCCBs), and I could not get the ones that came off a GT car - I had to get them off a Turbo. So you need to be sure which ones work with your car and the best way to do is to compare part#s!

After more research, it looks like the rear brake rotors on the 992 are the same with any 991.
https://teile.com/en/porsche-tequipm...e-disc-R/62429

So the Cayman GT4 PCCB would be the same with any other Porsche that has 410mm Front and 390mm Rears
The only difference is the part number change in years

Not a clue, sorry. It took a lot of research on my part to ensure what I was buying from Germany fit my 991.2 - I have no idea what would fit a 992 but you should get the part#s of the PCCBs that are available for your car and take it from there.
