Miami Blue was beautiful looking on a visceral level but intellectually it reminds me of Florida and I can’t stand Florida. And I wasn’t going to cough up $12k for PTS and reward Porsche for artificially limiting the color options in the first place.
I went with GT Silver and it’s quite nice, but if I was ordering today I’d definitely go with Shark!

Yeah, I tried to find the most offensive-looking photograph of a Frozen Berry Metallic car. (It does actually look OK on a Taycan sometimes...)
But seriously, kudos to Porsche for trying something new and controversial color-wise!
Sure you can be a COWARD and have your pick of 1 of the 5 Porsche shades of bright blue that no one on the street will be able to tell apart from each other. OR you can be BRAVE and go with Frozen Berry Metallic - a color that everyone will notice, will never be confused with any other color, and everyone will have a strong opinion about.

Is the consensus this will replace Gentian for '22? I really wanted Gentian but don't think I'd pony up for PTS for it. I had a Sprint Blue Audi S4 that looks a lot like Shark Blue. I grew to not care for it.

Yeah, that color is so nice. I wanted a bright blue on my GT4 - Gentian was too dark (and too purple). Miami Blue was beautiful looking on a visceral level but intellectually it reminds me of Florida and I can’t stand Florida. Anyway, 2022 GT4/Spyder colors in the US should be out soon...

I don't know - I live on the beach, which does not have those things...if I had to live off the coast I probably would not be here - it sounds like you know nothing about FL either.
