was a great event and I caught JC's "ringworm" ... but even after 2 days of lead/follow and other instruction once I got out on my own I rapidly realized I did not know where the f*** I was ...
notice anything "funny" about my car?
I vowed that when I went back the following year I would know the track better, so a few months before my next school, I started watching lap videos on YT, and this was *the* one I used the most in order to visualize the
line, corners etc ... when I returned to the school that year I was a LOT faster and confident around the track... and it cemented my "addiction" to this unique place...
So, in some way, you could say that Sabine taught me how to drive the 'Ring... I never met her personally, but I often saw her in the Pistenklause after another amazing day on the track...
She was so much part of the "legend" and experience of the 'Ring - it will never be quite the same place it was without her ...
Thanks for teaching me the line! RIP Sabine!

Done and Shared. That will easily eclipse the 15,000 mark.

A decade ago, Sabine took us around the Ring, and often sideways as in this photo. Passed 40 people and 3 crashed cars in one wet lap. She was every bit as charming in person as her TV persona. One of my favourites human beings on this planet, her moment with us still one of the highlights of my life. A truly awesome person and such sadness to hear of her passing...
