Default Will Neodyme replace Aurum in MY22?

With the 992 GT3 configurator showing Satin Neodyme as a wheel color option instead of Satin Aurum, I wonder if it will become an optional color for the GT4/GTS in MY22. I much prefer Neodyme to Aurum. What do you guys think?

I noticed the Neodyme in the configurator as well. I ordered the Satin Aurum with Aventurine Green on my Cayman GTS 4.0 because I have excellent taste. What’s the difference between the Aurum and Neodyme?

Also, the wheel repair shops have done an amazing job fixing curb rash in the past on various shades of silver wheels. Are they as good with the satin gold wheels?

My understanding is Satin Neodyme is more of a bronze than gold. If so Satin Aurum would be my preference as I like it on almost every color, but bronze wheels can look amazing on some colors. Black for example.

It depends on the wheel repair shop. A decent one shouldn't have a problem. The one we use in my city can match anything we've thrown at them so far for a wheel repair so if you're near a big city odds are there will be at least one wheel shop that is equally as good.

Doubtful... Porsche has run multiple wheel finishes in the past... I see it no different.
