they look like a plastic clip about 3-" in length and they are "clipped" onto the springs to stop them compressing etc during transport, you should be able to spot them if you still have them installed - and if you do go straight to your dealership and get them pulled...

In reality probably what you are hearing is the helper springs moving around during compression/rebound ... which is normal...
I’m having the similar clunk sound but I’m seeing there is a plastic pieces on the top of spring. Is it normal?

My 23 GT4 has this piece too. Apparently it's normal!
