Default GT4/Spyder/GTS 4.0 RPM on highway question

Random question for owners please...bought a 2021 CGTS 4.0 PDK out of state...supposed to be at dealer in early June....thinking of driving it home instead of shipping, but am obsessing about break-in (I will keep this car for 20 years).
The primary break-in guidance (for those that believe in proper break-in) that I'll likely follow is longer trips (check) and varying engine speed, and try not to go over 4500 RPM for the first 1000-2000 miles (I'm not looking to debate whether this is correct or should be followed.....I just feel better doing it this way).
so my question-
On a highway, cruising along around 75 mph, can current owners with PDK estimate their RPM's in 7th gear?....6th gear?.....and 5th gear?
Am thinking about getting a couple of nice long drive days in home and want to vary the RPM's on the highway while at the same time trying to keep RPM's lower than 5k-
Any RPM feedback much appreciated! (yes, I'm obsessing).

Pending an answer from someone with a key in their hand, good amount of info in this (link below) thread. Speeds in various gears can be seen in a chart generated in post #2. X axis is speed, and the gears are in descending order as you climb the Y axis. As far as how RPM corresponds, you can estimate that you won't ever really go past your 5K RPM point in any of those gears unless you're pushing triple digits. This is based off of estimated power band per gear. If you keep it roughly linear over the span on the X axis you can assume the middle point is 4ish thousand RPM.

My non quasi-quantitative answer? Drive it home. If you need less speed to stay in the RPM range your after, take a backroad. I haven't done a break-in drive in a 718, but I have driven several other cars home when new and the drive is always worth it.

Here's what a Spyder PDK reads at 75 mph.

5th 3680 rpm
6th 3000 rpm
7th 2410 rpm

Recommend all break in miles be done in manual mode to control RPMs.

Don’t know about the GTS, but the GT car boxes will zing it way past 4500 with very little pressure on the go pedal in auto.

thanks very much for the replies everyone!...manual mode, drive it home is the way to go I think...LA to Seattle......Pacific Coast Highway is not a bad way to drive the first 600 miles...

You'll be zipping along at 100 MPH at 4000 RPMs. Don't get too hung-up on it. Just vary speeds once in a while and enjoy that wonderful ride up the coast.

Likely not but if you find that thread, there was a nice route recommended to bypass that section. Nice enough that the locals were hoping the thread would be deleted and the secret kept

I had it bookmarked when I was planning a similar trip from a LA dealer back to Seattle - https://rennlist.com/forums/718-gts-...o-big-sur.html

Great way to break it in. I am sure you know this, but run it up to "your" recline in whatever gear and allow engine compression to slow you down. Do this occasionally when no one is behind you, it helps seat the rings. Enjoy.
