OK, @doba_s , you gotta provide more details than that! Which wheels? I'm assuming you are using PFC calipers? Clubsport front uprights?

Nice job making it all work together, however you did it!

you can do it two ways ... PFC or PMNA brakes. Wheels are apex

One and the same since PFC supplies them for the CS.

How did you find the brake action after the brake change? Is it the same as OEM or different?

Nice to see someone has done this.
Any affect on car electronics? - ABS, ESC+TC - speedo? (although dash speedo isn't really that important on track if you have GPS data logging anyway)

this changes things for me.
i was going to go PCCB as its cheap for what it is but 20" wheels and a stiff suspension isn't great for anywhere but smooth highways and tracks. the ride will be transformational on 18s and great on 19s.

my f80 m3 competition is a great example. on 18" vs 20" summers on stock suspension. doesn't look as nice but the ride is awesome and the handling, on roads, just a tad less grip/traction but it's more mobile and just as fun. I'm not a fan of big wheels and wide rubber if all you add is looks. Its almost completely wrong from a rotational mass perspective as a pound off the brakes is not as good as a pund of wheels and tyres

Nice. That's how they should come from the factory.
I don't get the desire for bling-tastic 20" wheels.

They do, but parts are not the same.

It's been raning and I am waiting for MSC shocks to arrive so I havent taken it out yet. The ration is correct so I dont anticipate any issues with traction.

I considered using 18" wheels on my 981 GT4 when I started to track it. There is a factory GT3 caliper that will fit. The primary advantage is that there are a lot more track tires that will fit. I decided to go with CCW 19" wheels.

I have 18's for track use on my 981. Looked at the CS PFC items but found 997.2 cup car (or GT3 or RS) front calipers work fine and heaps cheaper. The OEM rear calipers clear the barrels of my 18" wheel but it's quite tight. The braking performance is the same as the OEM calipers and there is no effect on ABS or traction control or ESC. The upside is is takes just a couple of minutes to change pads. Anyway that's my experience and I think the 718 brakes are the same as the 981.
