Yeah, I bet it's the same, lots of V W parts are the same as Porsche ones, except usually they are cheaper. In this case the price is the same so the only reason to use it is proximity.

My wife drives a VW with one of those plastic drain plugs that has been through quite a few oil changes & I'd recommend paying extra for the OEM part rather than use aftermarket. Though I'm sure there are good quality aftermarket plugs out there I've had dribbles from properly seated aftermarket drain plugs that I picked up on Amazon out of convenience. The casting of the part and the o-ring likely need to be spot on to get a good seal. Relative to the entire cost of the oil change, especially with the amount of oil these cars require, a couple extra $$ for the OE VW/Audi/Porsche plug isn't really significant and worthwhile insurance against drips.
