Yeah right - my car goes to the dealer for the first (free) oil change and warranty work only...other work is done by my Indy shop.
From FCP Euro, who I have also bought from before:
"Hello Bob,
Thanks for contacting FCP Euro!
I was not able to find those orders either. Would have been placed under a different name or email address? If so let me know what they could be and I can look further into it.
I'm here to help with any further questions or concerns!
Best regards,
Jason"

I've used Pelican in the past too, but they still don't show the Cayman for 2021 or even 2020. Hard to order parts when they don't list our cars.

Personally I wouldn't rely on the on-site parts filter based on the car, they have been wrong in the past, I used the OEM Porsche numbers and the actual filter in my Spyder to cross reference the correct parts.
Here is what I bought and installed in my 2020 Spyder
This shows the Porsche numbers and the Mahle cross reference
This is the actual oil filter out of my 2020 Spyder
This picture doesn't tell the entire story, but was taken from a Porsche parts site that crosses the two filter numbers to the Mahle number
HTH!

Yeah, I used the same parts for my first oil change. I had a Mahle filter left over from my 981. Both Pelican and FCP Euro are very slow to list parts for tge 4.0 liter cars, and they are now building the third year of them.

[QUOTE=Westcoast;17590857]Well the screen shots I posted above for Bob Z are the correct filter and drain plug for the 4.0l found in a GTS, GT4 and Spyder... 2020 and up.

What is the part in the bag to the right of the drain plug?

Bob Z, yes, the oil and filter are on their website, I've ordered them, but trying to find them on their site isn't easy. Try inputting your 4.0 vehicle, they don't allow it. From the web page you show, the only models they show for a 2021 Cayman are base, S, and T. All these are 4 cylinder turbos, a very different animal from our 4.0 6 cylinder NA engines. So someone going to their website and inputting their vehicle info gets crickets, as out Brit friends say. That's my big complaint. If you know the P/N it's relatively easy to find what you need, but that shouldn't be how it works.

1 gal plastic bag trick is awesome. Going to start using this method on my raptor.

Cross post, I checked FCP Euro and Pelican just now, still nothing listed for the GTS 4.0, and finding the oil, filter and plug are impossible trying to input my vehicle. Even choosing 718 Spyder didn't bring up anything but Red Line oil and no drain plug or oil filter. Pretty sad that after two years one still can't just pull up parts based on the vehicle info.

I just read one of my replies above, and I seem to be repeating myself... sorry.
