In order to keep the valves open all the time, you can uuplug the vaccum lines and block them with a 6 mm grub screw. Other option is to attach the valves in the open position with metal wires. More expensive route is to get a valve control module (Soul, Cargraphic...).

OK thanks, i appreciate the information. I really look forward to hearing your thoughts as you put more miles on the car. I am giving serious to to exchanging my wife's 2017 base Boxster with a 21 GTS Boxster. She really loves her car though and I am not sure about the off the line torque feel between her turbo 4 and the NA 6. Thanks for a great review and enjoy your new car. Happy Holidays.

Back in my BMW days, it was always called the "Golf Tee" mod, as we would use a golf tee to plug the vacuum line.
