In order to keep the valves open all the time, you can uuplug the vaccum lines and block them with a 6 mm grub screw. Other option is to attach the valves in the open position with metal wires. More expensive route is to get a valve control module (Soul, Cargraphic...).

There is plenty of info in different threads... I'm at work so no time to search and post link, but it should be in the first 3-4 pages of the forum.

I had to Google "grub screws", never heard them called that before. I always put some silicone sealer on whatever screw I stick into a vaccum line, JIC. YMMV. Good advice, will be one of the first things I do when my car arrives.

OK thanks, i appreciate the information. I really look forward to hearing your thoughts as you put more miles on the car. I am giving serious to to exchanging my wife's 2017 base Boxster with a 21 GTS Boxster. She really loves her car though and I am not sure about the off the line torque feel between her turbo 4 and the NA 6. Thanks for a great review and enjoy your new car. Happy Holidays.

Back in my BMW days, it was always called the "Golf Tee" mod, as we would use a golf tee to plug the vacuum line.

I remember that "mod"

Thanks for the write up OP, a bit jealous as I think I'll have to wait until next April or May to do that with mine.

Yep, I still have some tees in my part bins.
