Sure a few nerd facts can’t hurt in this context either, so here you go:
Sure a few nerd facts can’t hurt in this context either, so here you go:
- With the new PDK, the dual-mass flywheel from the GT4 Clubsport is also finding its way
- The transmission ratio remains identical to that of the manual switch, but gears 1-5 are shorter
- In the Spyder and GT4, the PDK increases the locking values of the rear axle lock, which increases traction. Locking values of 30 and 37 percent are now achieved in pulling and pushing operation (manual transmission 22 and 27 percent)

Sorry, but the page you are looking for doesn't exist.

The official Porsche literature has no mention of a dual mass fly wheel. I would tend to believe Porsche documents over something from web24 address.

My Gentian Blue PDK GT4 is on a ship heading this way - According to my SA i should have the car around Dec 12th, I plan on first attempt at a VLog as I pick it up and describe it's driving characteristics.
I can directly compare to my 718 Boxster S and some other vehicle I've had - but it'll probably be March before I can get it on the track for highspeed comparisons. Can't wait!!!!

Dear Mr. Dodds,
Regarding your question if the 718 GT4 7-speed PDK has a dual mass flywheel like the GT4 Clubsport, we can inform you that these both models have a dual mass flywheel, with different speed PDK. The Clubsport is only for the race track and is not road approved. It has a 6-speed PDK with dual-mass flywheel. The Cayman GT4 is road approved, so can be used as a daily driver. It has a 7-speed PDK with dual-mass flywheel.
If you want more information or interested in a purchase, we would suggest continuing dialogue with a Porsche Centre. Our colleagues will be very happy to assist you in every matter.
Dear Mr. Dodds, thank you for taking the time to contact us directly and we would be happy to welcoming you soon in the Porsche family.
Assuring you our best attention all the time.
