Default RSNV 718 GT4 Wing Risers and Dive Planes?

Anyone running the RSNV wing risers on their 718 GT4 in serious track mode?

I am wondering whether with diffuser blocks removed and a gurney flap, will Dive Planes be required??

Assuming a fast track like CTMP/Mosport...

Thanks,

Colin

We have a lot of customers tracking their GT4's with just risers. The gurney flap will add significantly more downforce than the risers add. In that situation you may want dive planes as well, more due to the gurney though. We're working on both canards/gurney for 718.

Drive the car on track and add what it needs. If you are not solving a problem with aero you are just slowing the car down on straights with drag.

The risers actually give a slight reduction in drag of the stock wing. But yes, dive planes/gurney definitely create drag to give that added downforce.

Thanks RSNV!

You no doubt know the tendency of the 718 to have some instability under high speed braking (140mph+)

I ran a chipped 718CaymanS that definitely exhibited this issue.

Never really felt comfortable with it and sold the car before resolving the problem.

I have your risers and a GT4 on order and they will be installed by my tuner who also runs a Cup Car team, so things should be fine.

But any help you could give us "mere mortals" without time to "test and tune" and without years of track experience could save us some time.

Look forward to your Canards and Gurney Flap!

Thanks

Instability under hard braking could be an alignment issue which is well documented for Boxters and Caymans....

Do the OEM metal trim pieces around the base of the riser work with your RSNV risers? Kind of prefer no extra branding if possible.
