In my mind, this is what Shark Blue should look like. I don't think most people would equate the name Shark Blue with a bright vibrant blue similar to Riviera/Mexico/Voodoo blue spectrum. At least in our family, when I mentioned the name and asked what everybody thought the color would be, everybody said it should be a light silvery blue. I would have thought that it would be more like a Gemini Blue.

Hopefully, soon enough we'll know for sure.

no doubt the shark blue is the volkswagen corflower blue.

Porsche color 2021

i have a miami blue pdk spyder on order. It cannot be produced in this color. I'm thinking of changing to red guard because I like shark blue less than miami blue

I agree. This was just posted on a Spyder/GT4 thread for a reason completely unrelated to the exterior color. This car is reportedly at a US dealership prior to delivery. Looks like protective material/padding.

Yeah, that’s definitely protection and coincidentally a similar color, but the OP’s shot is the pillar and hinge in the supposed shark/cornflower blue shade... no way they’d ever protect that area.

I’m buying that the shown shade is shark based on info from the other posts. However, it’s still a dumb name for the shade.
I agree cornflower is stupid too, but there’s a bunch of other names that any half wit in advertising or marketing could come up with that would satisfy the testosterone of the audience.
Lightning Blue
Bolt Blue
Pacific Blue
Hell, I’d even like Blue by you... 😂

I mean, Cornflower makes a lot of sense, at least it looks like what it's named after compared to Shark:

I was clearly incorrect in believing Porsche would not do something like this. PDK stick as confirmed by AP in the new Henry Catchpole YouTube video.... still lame though. Link below.

Wondering if the pinstripe on the wheel at the end is the new shark blue?
