19 inch wheel option for GT4/spyder

19 inch wheel option for GT4/spyder
I want to know if we can fit a 19 x 9.5 wide wheel? If so what offset would be ideal? I think a 265 inch tire on 9.5 inch wheel is more ideal. Once I confirm the proper offset, I will search for a wheel (may end up to be custom).
https://www.willtheyfit.com/index.ph...9-5&offset2=50
For the rears, I think the inside is tight (especially with a smaller diameter wheel). I think the following should be ok especially with 285 inch tire.
https://www.willtheyfit.com/index.ph...=11&offset2=45
Any help is appreciated. I don't want to experiment (i.e. order custom wheels only to have them not fit).
I will be using these for the track.

There's lots of info on this on the 981 GT4 forum....you wont be able to fit the 9.5...being 9" the max. On the rear you can fit a 11" but the clearance to the rear toe link end could be an issue.
My Forgeline track wheels are 19x9 ET51 and 19x11 ET46.....front one is perfect and I use a 275 Pirelli DH (which is more like a 265).
But be careful, in order to use the bigger tire up front the camber has to be gain using camber plates primarily to tuck the tire inside the fender or you risk hitting the fender edge.
Rear in 11" I had 5 mm clearance to a TPC toe link...a bit tight but it works.

Thanks I read someone was able to fit 9.5 inch fronts on the 981 forum but they did not say offset. I know all about tight fitments on a previous car but still learning here. I don't want to risk damaging the oem fenders. I know alignment will play a major factor, along with ride height, suspension, etc. Do you know how much room is on the inside of the oem wheel without it touching the shock, suspension arms even at full lock?
Any information is helpful

981 and 982 are identical in respect to unibody, brakes, suspension and a lot of other things.....its a 981.2 basically not a whole new model. And yes....you can fit 19x11 in the rear.

The OEM 20" wheels have a slightly stepped up barrel so it is almost like the barrel of some 19" wheels. That's why the clearance is so tight with PCCB. Barrel geometry matters also, not just overall wheel size.

Looks like there is well priced option with ideal sizing and also relatively light.
APEX SM-10
I won't be able to get my 9.5 inch wide front wheel but seems very uncommon choice anyways....
I will probably pick up a set for $400 off.

Posted in the 981 GT4 forum also....
I had Apex wheels on my last BMW and they were excellent. Really some of the best value wheels and in some ways they have no competition when you combine weight, durability, price, and fitment/size options. Plus, as a company they are like an 11 out of 10 on customer support, warranty, and standing behind their products. If I didn't have pccbs I'd love to have downsized to 19's and gone with the 9" fronts and stock width rears do get just a little more rubber up front.
Finally, my hats off to Apex for making a great set of wheels for us Cayman/Boxster owners and not slapping a big FU Porsche tax on the wheels. Anyone shopping wheels should consider these first. Sorry, I'm not normally this excited about a vendor but I think they nail the value proposition for enthusiasts, especially once you start thinking about wheels as consumables where you might just need to buy 1 or 2 wheels or multiple sets for the track rats.
