Default GT4 Review by Matthew Kanniah

Came across this yesterday and haven’t seen it posted. Found it to be a well put together review of the GT4.

Matt is a new kid on the scene. Give him some follows.

Nice review. That looked like Night Blue Metallic which I don't see in the configurator. That's not Gentian, is it?

I have to believe it is gentian. I recently went to PEC ATL, someone happened to be taking delivery of a gentian GT4. When the car was outside in shaded/cloudy ambient light, the color looked that dark in person.

it is, and it does - why I did not spec my Spyder in GBM ... in anything other than direct sunlight or bright artificial light its very dark IMO....

I wanted to like the GBM, but I do not like the purple hue to it at certain angles, I like pure blue colors. It is going to be GT Silver for me. I really liked the darker gray color of the 981, but they don't offer that any longer.

@TRZ06 My GT4 is GT Silver with the Platinum wheels and I just love it. It’s a super impressive color combo on a car this size.

I liked Gentian a lot when it first came out but less as time goes by. It shows darker and darker on every new pic or video I see. When it's not dark, almost black, then it's purple.

Great choice on the Synthwave for the music. So refreshing to hear something other than that annoyingly ubiquitous royalty free YouTube music that is a default for so many reviews.

You can tell when a reviewer is just going through the motions, and you can tell this is not the case; there is genuine worship here... and it’s been a car that has overindexed in that area across a lot of reviewers.
