Are you OCD? Nothing that a soft toothbrush can't solve.

You could always pay for black, CXX?, stiching.

I take that as a yes. I probably am OCD and also cheap, so no CXX!

God bless,

Black stitching is usually free.

Just checked the 718 GT4 configurator. In the area labeled Extended Individualization, black stitching is a $3,230 dollar uncharge and is not available on the standard interior.

God bless,

I had silver stitching on my prior 991.2 and now on the GT4 and have not had issues and I’m pretty OCD when it comes to car cleanliness. The 991.2 had a little over 28K miles when I traded it and never once did it appear dirty but then again I cleaned the car routinely both inside and out. Never focused exclusively on cleaning the stitching. Then again, maybe I’m not as OCD as I think...

Thanks for that great and reassuring feedback!

we have yellow stitching
it doesn't get dirty

I believe it's some type of synthetic thread but am not sure
I'm sure if you searched on rennlist someone could tell what type of material is used for the thread

but I think you are overly concerned about light colored thread

AFAIK the Leather/Race-Tex interior option comes with black stitching.

I think this is true for Spyder but not Gt4.

I had a Carrera T with the Yellow T interior package (fully leather and yellow stitching everywhere) and never had an issue with the yellow getting stained at all.

I believe GT325 is correct. Wish that wasn't the case, though!

Nope, never...

Just wonder what kind of personal environment would bring in enough “soil” for this to happen...”Pigpen” character in Peanuts?

Could be! Seriously, I had an F83 BMW M4 convertible with Silverstone leather interior which started showing dirt fairly quickly...and I'm not a pig farmer and very careful about car interiors.

God bless,
