License Plate Dimple Question

License Plate Dimple Question
So I picked up my car yesterday and unfortunately it had some minor transport damage on the edge of the bumper near the driver's side front wheel so it's going in for a warranty repair. Additionally, where the little dimples are for the front plate, there are two white dots, which are little divots through the paint. My dealer was instructed not the drill for the plate and said they didn't - plate kit was still wrapped up in the frunk, so I'm inclined to believe them. That said, I'm going to have those filled, sanded and repainted when they do the scuff on the bumper.
Question for those of you with your cars. Your bumper dimples were painted over, right? I just want to make sure that all the cars aren't delivered with two white dots before I make them fix it.
One other unrelated question. My car should have Apple Car Play. I synched my phone but can't find car play anywhere on the menus. Is there a trick to getting it to come up?

+1 on wizee comment its a plugin which you can close the lid and have it outside the arm rest if you like. Additionally if your phone is in sleep mode or locked it may not synch when plugged in you have to wake it up..

This might go without saying, but if it were me and they were refinishing the bumper anyway I would make sure they use filler and get rid of the dimples altogether. That seems like a positive for having to get the transport damage repaired. There is a chance the body shop won't do this unless you specifically tell them to do so.

Here's a wild thought: If you have headlight washers have them remove the washers, plug the tubes, disable the pump, and fill the holes. I had the front end of my 911 repainted for rock chips and had my chrome nozzles painted body color. Afterwards I got to thinking I should've just gotten rid of them entirely and had the body shop fill the holes. Might be an odd conversation when selling the car someday, though.
