You sold it to PFAFF in Vaughan?

Interesting read, thank you. Wondering how it would compare with a F430, my favourite "older" ferrari. Mind you, auto tech has gone through the roof since the 360 was made and I'm not just talking about apple carplay and other gadgets. Who ever thought we'd get over 500hp in a mass produced NA 6 pot or a 10 speed automatic, or a ......

I wondered which other car had the same feel, but maybe a bit more raw, and it sounds like the manual 360 spider is just the one.

Have you driven the manual 430 spider? How does that compare?

You’re welcome. I looked briefly at a 430 when I was shopping for my 360 but couldn’t get past the side scoops and front intakes (Funny 10 years later, the 430 looks have grown on me somewhat). But the first box that has to be checked is your love for the way the car looks. If you don’t, you should never buy it IMHO. I did well selling my gated 360 but the gated 430 now is even more desirable and rarer and therefore more lucrative if you are selling. If I had one I wouldn’t sell 430 - last Ferrari ME NASP Gated. Pretty cool . The 430 is better and more modern than the 360 in many ways. I preferred the looks and sound of 360 however. I have a couple of driving clips with top and the sound is just intoxicating. I miss that part of the car the most. It was such an occasion to get in, start up, and go for a drive. But so is my Spyder. Even if I have to physically get out to put the roof down

Correct. Another dealer offered me a R8 v10 manual in straight up trade. It was tempting and sometimes I regret not doing it. The odd time over the past few years I have found myself checking autotrader . And I did test drive one in 2018 - albeit a DCT. Found it very heavy and numb.
