Haha I had a $5k voucher from Porsche from the Cayenne Coupe mess and I had to use it by Nov and I wasn't sure that PTS would be available. Then after I placed my order and put a deposit down the PTS window opened up and one of my dealers had a slot in the window so I went for. Who knows when the PTS car will actually arrive so it'll be good to have a regular color one until that time.

You could technically walk away from your non-pts car but I guess that would be a D move unless you spoke to your dealer and they were ok with it. This way you don't have to mess around with trying to sell your gentian blue car unless you're planning on selling it back to the dealer or trading it in back to the dealer.

Yeah, it'd be a D move and I'm a big believer in karma. Besides, I'll have a car to drive around for 3 months and get to use that $5k voucher so I'm not too worried about losing a few grand while I'm waiting for the PTS car. I may trade the first car to the dealer that I'm getting the PTS car from but we'll see.
Mine was delivered yesterday. I traded in my Ferrari California 30 on her. I ordered the Soul Performance Race Exhaust and received an email stating delivery on the exhaust would be in January . Love the car, can't wait to put more miles on her!
