The reason for my request is to determine if it's a direct swap to the 981. I like the idea of increased downforce AND ground clearance. If anyone has pics, the 981 community would greatly appreciate it!

I would be interested in seeing any differences behind the bumpers—structure, radiator placement/sizes, etc. As far as the bumpers themselves, I'm sure some of the shape at the bottom of the headlights are going to be different, so likely not a direct swap without some bodyshop work. It would be cool to see how close everything is.

I haven't seen that angle of the 718 you posted. When looking at a forward perspective, they seemed similar in shape. I'll bring stencil paper to my local dealer and trace out the headlight shape.

Where the bumper meets fender between the marker light and headlight. That line looks very different. Seems to turn up at a sharper angle on the 981

It’s a no go... fenders, lights are different... only thing that’s the same is the hood, windshield, roof and rear boot.

Thanks for ripping the bandaid off.

I'm not willing to add headlights and fenders to the conversion.
