IMHO if you can swing it, go Ceramic and yellow.
If you can’t and practicality sets in with iron, then try to upgrade for black paint. I don’t think the red works... the reason, it’s a warm color fighting against a cool.

I personally would go black wheels with yellow calipers. It looks amazing in person. Otherwise black calipers with any wheel color. I really feel the red clashes badly, given this particular shade of blue.

Im not a big fan of black rims with black calipers, I feel there is just two black holes thats missing something. Has anyone painted the red calipers in the same color as the PCCBs color? Is that possible? I know that might be like a poser thinking their PCCBs, but this point I want to make the color tone work like most of you have suggested. I might be sold on that yellow look.

You just answered my question. Is there a way you can perhaps get more photos of it? I am curious to see how the paint holds up vs the colors on OEM.

How much do these caliper paint jobs cost ball-park? I may just stick with the red calipers and save the $900 black caliper upcharge towards painting the calipers Python Green which would look much better on a PG car with Platinum wheels.

If you don't want to pop for the PCCBs to get yellow, you can always tie in red in other ways...interior stitching, seat belts, roll cage, etc. Personally wouldn't go with anything other than black wheels on MB and I agree with OP that black wheels and black calipers is...well..straight up yawnsville. MB calipers might look too "matchy matchy"...nice to have another colour in there, but you just have to plan ahead to add other complimentary elements to your build.
